A bit OT, but for those of you DJing/VJing with Live and Arkaos, you can use Live to stutter/scratch/skip around Arkaos video clips by sending CC curves/values to the Movie Speed and/or Movie Loop controller settings, or use a MIDI controller to do it manually. Follow Actions, IAC, MIDI Random, etc make it really fun, and it's easy to sync scratching/stuttering/etc to the audio (and lighting).

Use Plogue to generate the CCs, and get your video to auto-stutter/scratch/skip around to the music. (I'm trying to get this to work scratching/stuttering live video feed through Arkaos on a Mac... any help appreciated!)

I can't wait 'til video export is in... Hopefully it comes in a 6.x update :)

Here' s a promising response from Stefan Haller in this thread:

Stefan Haller wrote:We know that video export is a feature that is sorely missing; however, we just didn't have the resources to add it in time for Live 6. So, as Alex already explained elsewhere, we had three options: not allow warping of videos for now; allow warping of videos even though we don't have an export feature yet; or shift the release to a later date.

We chose option 2 in this case, because we think that warping of videos may still be useful (or just fun) enough despite the limitations. We hope to add video export in a future update.
