I'll second the "wave editor" great little app. A bit pricey, but works nicely.Bassfrq wrote:http://www.audiofile-engineering.com/wave_editor.php

how to get .MOV file back into live from soundtrack Pro 2
I am trying to get a .mov file back into Live from soundtrack pro 2 as my sample editior?nonnus wrote:how about soundtrack pro from the big apple itself ?
been using it in the last months without too much issues
it just crashes on my mbp a little too often for my taste...
Export is greyed out and saving does not work
i tried it today and found it very glitchy/buggy. Was having a lot of clicks, pops, and stutters, which has never happened to me with even Logic and Live rewired both running a whole bunch of plugins. Not sure if it's some sort of protection scheme for the demo, but needless to say i wasnt impressed.earthlinger wrote:Peak LE has ridicilous limitations like it isn't supporting 32 bit files. I'm very happy with Wave Editor from AudioFile Engineering. It's also universal. If what they said to me is true, in the next version they will start to use Izotope algorithms for samplerate conversion, dithering and pitch-shifting. DSP Quattro looks good. If only they'd make it UB
just upgraded my final cut studio to the latest and Soundtrack Pro is better than ever. IMO the best wave editor out there. of course if you don't need any of the rest of FCS then it's not realistic. WaveEditor is a very very close second for me. the AppleScript support in Soundtrack Pro is what tips the table.
i like soundstudio.
its very simple, easy to use, UB and has AU support.
