Most definitely. But I would also concede that triggering loops in time can then become a real concern.

1/4 *is* a solution, but definitely workaround-ish.

There are two "interludes" in this track I wrote that switch to 3/4:

The main signature remains 4/4, but all the clips playing at those times are in 3/4. It works!

this is one of the most discussed limitations of live - i'm amazed they haven't implemented it yet.

Been sugesing this since 1.5. Maybe it's trickier than we think to implement. Sure would be nice to be able to automate time signature changes.
