I think sampler is the shit. I love being able to make sounds that are futuristic but also primitave at the same time.

Just bought L6 with Sampler....which I said I wouldn't do, but dang that teaser movie was exciting!! I don't already own a sampler like that, so I might as well buy the one most integrated with my one and only DAW/performance ass-kicking tool.
Being able to link envelopes to sample start and loop length is what really sold me on it....can't wait to jamit out!!

Doesn't seem quite so expensive now.

I was thinking along the sme lines but then I decided against as I would have to pay out more for the sounds.
I just think its bizarre the way the sampler and the basic sampler library are like to seperate products

I will buy it, but not for a few months as I just can't afford it.

Sampling has always been my main thing I can't afford it right now but I will beg borrow somehow find the $$ SOON because Sampler is a beast.
The modulating oscillator is a way to get FM style timbres faster and to my mind more interesting than Yamaha DX style FM (with 4 operator algorhythms)

I wont because I have Kontakt.
But I would swap it for sampler.

Well, I just bought it, the box and the shirt, so we'll see about that, eh

?!
But just because I got it doesn't mean I get to use it. It's my dessert for when I finally get my Max porjects completed
That'll do 'er.

I can get an educational discount on Sampler - I think it's 85 Euros. If it was at this price normally, would more people buy it you reckon?
I don't have Kontakt, or any decent sampler, but do need something for my course. At this price, the CPU friendly and Live integration, and the fact you can import EXS24 etc. is really tempting me.

If it was cheaper I would buy it in a second. I was seriously hoping the initial discount would be better than $35 off, but that's just me. I'm interested in Sampler, I think it's a neat idea, I just think that for the amount I'll use it, $200 is too much for ME. Especially since the first soundbanks for it (EIC) are another $119.
Had it been $99 or even $119, I'd probably be using it right now.
I'm sure that for those that that use it a lot though, it's probably a fair price. I'm just a grump, I thought Operator was overpriced too.
