going from 1.25GB to 2GB on Macbook - how much of a benefit?

Off the top off my head I think that both Flash and HDDs can transfer data much quicker than USB will allow. I would stick with a HDD but defo get a 7200rpm model. I'm sure this would be more cost effective than flash.
