Listen to machine on this cause hes right. thats what I was hearing lately. non expressive pads is like going for a dump without toilet roll. you just wont feel right.
so what you are saying is that there is a lack of expressiveness with the mpd 24? what about the break in period? akai has always had a break in period, no?

what's this thing about the '2nd generation trigger fingers'? didn't know anything of a second generation. explain please!!
thx :)

o yes! here's another question.
I wanted to check if the pads on the triggerfinger are the same as the ones on the axiom serie

Is it possible that the ones on the triggerfinger don't trigger on the corners of the pads (only when you hit them in the midlle), where as the axiom pads do trigger over the whole pad surface?

I have an MPD24 & I dont know why so many people who dont even have one have so much to say about it. The pads are better than on the MPD16, which I also have siting next to the MPD24. The knobs & faders are great! the faders seem a little jiggly, but theyve been working just fine. the presets for GURU were convenient for me, no drivers necessary, just plug in the USB & your good!
I personally like it better than any of the other controllers!!!

datu rocc was using one at my party last week http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjSHOZd6hZk

he said it was pretty cool. i like the fact that it had a nice complement of sliders and knobs is such reasonable locations. the only thing that i didnt like about my microkontrol was that it was just that little bit too odd shaped to fit in my bag, but this thing looks like it would fit right in. i definitely want to check this thing out more.

hey mpd users, is it possible to assign note or cc to the control buttons, ie to trigger scene?
