Yeah...?!?

EvilEvil....'s polls make me feel like a grumpy old bastard. But what the hell is up with that fourth option? And how does it relate to the others?

On a similar note... Seems like people are doing [OT] posts these days just to provoke. There has been OTs for a long time (as you all know  ), but usually on a subject that was of great concern to someone. The ones popping up the last couple of weeks seem to scream out: "Hey! Look at me! I can do an [OT] poll - because we don't have moderators! Ha, ha (in the voice of that kid from the Simpsons)".

hey, i'm sorry. ok, i won't do any more polls after this one. it was probably a bad idea and sorry that the options are kind of confusing. i started thinking about listing all the places in the world but it got to be too complicated and i had to setttle for broader options.

but voting should be closed now anyway because australia won already.

Australia. Yeah... Australia.

New Zealand is shit.

Don't come here. Honestly I wouldn't bother. Un-polluted, un-crowded, hasn't pissed anyone off, the least corrupt - according to a global study, with a third-term Labour government. The Prime Minister is a woman, and she's also Minister for the Arts. Yeah it's fuckin shit here mate. Australia's the place for you. :)

well i am very happy in hawaii.

if i could marry out and get another citizenship it would be between australia and bc. bc might take it cause all the girls i meet here from australia are butt ugly, with the exception of a few, 99% of the girls coming here from bc are smokin. (and if marriage is involved looks are important) plus bc has killer nuggs. but australia is pretty sweet too. tough choice. to marry a girl with both canadian and australian citizenship would be ace.

"best" place = tokyo. all the way. it's a different question, but most beautiful... well most places can be beautiful or ugly depending on how the light catches them. you could get mugged on the prettiest beach in the world and hate the place forever. You can put four chairs and espresso machine on the pavement in a battered street and if the suns out and the girls aren't wearing much of anything, it can be the most beautiful place on earth.

My favorite place in the world is Aspen, Colorado. Such a great ski town. It's small and remote, has incredible skiing, very high elevations, outstanding restaurants and hotels. It takes over 4 hours to drive there from Denver, so you never get weekend skiier crowds like they get in places like Vail and Copper. Aspen has its own airport right there, too. There is so much great skiing there, especially the double-black terrain, and it's not well known for that... so its never crowded. In all the years I've been skiing there, I've never had to wait in line for a lift more than a couple of minutes.

I have been going there for at least a week every year since I was 10, and I'll never stop.

If I had to pick a place in Canada, it would be Whistler. The town there is great, too. I prefer the skiing in Colorado, however.... because of the higher elevations they get better snow quality. The west coast mountains are not as tall as the Rockies, and the snow tends to be wetter and heavier. Colorado gets dryer, powder snow.
