well when you're sharing one caddy between a hard drive and a DVD rom then it starts to drive you mad
I finally bought another caddy for the hard drive and there's something wrong with the external power supply so I've had to send it back to the manufacturer

Ha! Those connectors are major pet-peeve of mine. They are as tenacious as hell.
Another pet-peeve: that MIDI connectors are ROUND! What were they thinking? Any other shape and I'd have a combined 3 days, 4 hours, 37 minutes, and 17 seconds (per my estimates) of my life back, which had been spent twisting MIDI cables round and round trying to line the pins up. And considering there 5 pins sitting in there, and it's a serial spec, would it have been such a major leap to just make each cable bi-directional? A pair of cables for nearly any application... oy.
Anyway I'm getting off-topic...
