Solution: Uncheck "Auto hide plug-in windows" in Preferences!

god I'm good....

Edit: Ok, so then is it better to have it on its own dedicated track, or on the Master? I'd rather the Master and save a track...I wonder if their would be any downside to that???

i've got it saved in my template on the master channel and its never caused a problem. i don't leave it visible all the time but usually top right works for me...
and definitely thank him, it's a pretty handy little plug!!

you have the option to leave the plugs always visible in the preferences if you want. you could assign it on it's own channel and switch to it by assigning a key/midi cc to view that channel maybe?

having this built into live wouldn't go astray though....

Hi
Does anyone have a vst solution to having a readable Hr Min Sec, Msec readout in live? All the links to KVR are dead so If anyone has those old VST files I'd be very grateful if they can pass them on.

I'm using Live for Video foley and Sfx work and to compile a cue sheet with Bars and beats isn't very helpful or accurate and the bottom bar in Arrange isn't a good soultion, I have found, unless you stop playback for each cue which slows the whole thing down.

Cheers folks

+1 Yes, a configurable "Big Clock" type VST for MacOS.

A) it's dumb that the time is down in the lower left hand corner
B) it's even MORE dumb that you have to click on the arrange page to know where the transport is other than the BAR readout

And I really like Ableton and have been using it as my sole DAW for years (after switching from Logic). Seriously give us a transport with a time readout.

DDMF makes a plug called transport but it would still be better if it was part of Ableton's transport running w/ the bar line.

Maybe a preference to swap the rulers and the readout location. Lower left info is less distracting, but also the least obvious to those who read left top corner to right lower corner. We’re not used to looking to left bottom for important stuff.
