really? that's weird
i can't hold any synched effect (eg #60) for longer than 2 bars. it gets out of synch pretty quickly.
could you test that with your mpc1000 and then with live, to check if it's a Live problem?
(to feel it better, put the kp2 full wet, and then go back to dry only over a few bars).

I can't believe this shit! I'm reading everything about the KP3 at the moment and thought about buying it but this sounds ridiculous!
Syncing the KP3 up with Live is the very first thing I would do.

Have to wait for KP4 then. And what about the Kaoss Pad on the upcoming Zero 8 Live Mixer? Hopefully they've fixed the problem there.

But of course I'm glad I read this thread!

These issues are being discussed on the actual Korg forums. I think Korg would take more notice if we were to pummel the thread over there.

Fwiw, a Korg rep has already acknowledged (well, kind of) this with "we "think" we found a small bug in the smoothing of the BPM sensing mechanism" in the thread.

I think people are drawing conclusions too quickly on this device. I've posted some suggested workarounds in the above linked thread.
