That was a trip. There was that certain suspiciousness in the:Sales Dude McBoob wrote:Yeah, funny story about Glu's NovationSL. I sold it to him when I was doing phone sales. The conversation went something like this:
Glu "Do you have the SL25?"
ME "Yup, they're in stock."
Glu "Great I'd like to buy one."
ME "Cool, what's your info blah blah blah"
Glu "Blah blah blah blah blah"
ME "Blah blah blah blah-blah. So, what software are you going to use that with?"
Glu "Well I have Pro Tools but I mostly use Ableton Live."
ME "Cool, me too. How did you get into Live?"
Glu "Well, I would just go to their forum online because I could always get good infromation from the people there, and after a year or so I took another look at the program and I got really into it."
ME "Huh, well, I actually hang out at the forum a lot..."
Glu"Oh yeah, what is your login?"
ME"Uh, well, I'm Sales Dude McBoob"
Glu "Hehe Hi Sales Dude McBoob, this is Glu"
ME "Ahh-ha, Glu, I know you..."

Glu "Well, sweet, I should have it in a few days?"
ME "Yeah, it's all set."

ME "Blah blah blah blah-blah. So, what software are you going to use that with?"
The one other occurence like this was anything close to this was when I was kickin it on my dock when my neighbor came out and rolled a smoke.
we ended up talking about music after he mentioned "programming in the woods..." I said, with Ableton Live with a huntch? and of course he said yes... He doesn't post online. though he reads stuff here, last time I checked.. haven't seen him around lately... Darrell, are you out there? This is your neighbor!
