things like Logic/Cubase etc have had their day - if you want a sequencer Tracktion's 50quid! and does all the useful things, the only thing you need to spend on are plug-ins like waves etc,
notice things like live,reason reaktor etc are all about the same price and about a third of the cost of logic and cubase? And IMO you can do alot more with buying 3 apps like these - I just got the waves C4 and L1 plug-ins seperately for mastering, just put them over the master in live, that's all I really would have used cubase or whatever for!!!
