Kudsi Erguner (Ottoman Tradition Turkish Art Music)
Steve Reich
John Luther Adams

Just stuff I listen to and my friends don't.

You know you're a music dork when you immediately recognize a recording by a description like that.
A chance to Cut is a Chance to Cure by MatMos! Now if you can name where that band name comes from then you get dork points!

I like a lot of groups that are in bad taste. I never thought it important to have good taste? That's just stupid. :P
Let's see?
Plasmatics
Mindless Self Indulgence
Fleetwood Mac
early B52's
the Cars
Lady Sovereign
-I like most black metal-
AC/DC
cheesy new wave in general
But like I said, good music taste is silly, I like what I like, period.

I'll take any chance to score some extra points... but I can't recall this one. I think I read it somewhere when the album was released, though... Hints?

Glad you recognized the description!

You're joking, right?

Early B52's thought of as "bad taste"?

Dude. Early B-52's is genius.

Pardon me. You just pressed a button there.

They turned to crap later on though, and not just a little crappy, but making a joke out of the work they did before crappy.
First two records are pure genius, after that it's hit or miss at best.

+1. I wore those albums out. Still got 'em! "She came from Planet Claire..."

As far as what anyone else thinks about my taste in music, I'm secure enough to not give a flying fuck...
