you probably have in a wrong skins folder from an update. try putting them in another skins folder and choose from preferences.

Does anybody knows a black skin for Live??
The light color skins are a little too"light" for a stage.

I find the Colorado skin to be easiest on the eyes - check out Monolake's site. Sorry I don't have the url handy, but it's been posted several times in the forum by Monolake.

Just D/L the skins from the monolake site .... Live 1.5.2 under win 2000 doesn't want to 'take' them : get a pop-up screen with 'serious error occured' .... are this maybe Mac-skins?

Both - only the archive used (.sit) tends to be more popular with Macs.
