Absolutely, it is only exclusively Ableton Live dedicated hardware. Could so much more useful and of course there would be more intrests, sells real win win situation.
I had them all few M audios, microKontrol, Kontrol 49, Novation Remote, X station and SL - all of them are build like toys, full of bugs, they all eneded on Ebay. New Edirol PCR 500 is a bit better ( I used it mapped with Faderfox maps and use with LV and LX) but none can match quality of Fadefox or Doepfer, in both build quality and implementation.

One would think that a company just about dedicated to making Live products would be completely natively supported.

Has anyone written a user config.txt file for any of the Faderfoxes, that they would be willing to share?

I only have the LX2 right now but I'm considering the LV2 for gigging since I just sold my microKontrol. So I'll need some fader action and it looks small but perfectly formed, if it's anyway as good as the LX2 then..... it might beat the competition U33e or BCF2000.

the faderfox website mentions that the units ship with configuration files for quick integration. Judging by how ableton implements automappings, I cant picture any FF being supported besides the LD2.

Speaking of which, that LD2 looks tempting! I didnt know it had push encoders. That's exactly the controller that I've been longing for!

I just picked one of these up. It's an absolutely brilliant device. Solved all my control problems and has stopped me looking around for the ultimate controller (it's paired with an LV1).

I haven't purchased a Faderfox yet, but through my using Live I have developed an idea of what capabilities I would like in a controller. I was happy to see that the LC2 looks like it really fits the bill quite well and plan to purchase one in the near future.

I got the LC2 a few weeks ago, haven't tried the other models, but the LC2 is great fun.

Yeah, I actually looked it up on the website because I saw it in your sig. I figured, this guy has good taste in beer, maybe he has good taste in gear too.
