@ LOFA:

Maybe my microkontrol is a lemon. The pads on it are only useful as buttons on mine. A lot of times i hit them and nothing happens. strange.

the faders and knobs are WAAAAY better on the korg though. The novation ones feel like they're going to break at any second. I don't think i'll ever take that thing to a show, just seems too fragile.

Rubbish pads I'm afraid. But then I'm used to the loveliness of MPC pads.....

ok, this is kinda embarassaing for me... i hadn't found out how to adjust the sensitivity of the pads (it's not edit+drumpad as i had assumed)... now that i've set low+high velocity to my liking, the pads are actually quite nice.

the novation pads are....seriously...the worst crappy/useless EVER!

Unfortunatly, the pads on the axiom (for example) are much much better.....but I just sent my 3rd unit back to maudio......(for other reasons)
