Long shot: neither of these have midi tempo out as they're 'just' controllers, right?

I just picked up the Korg.
After about an half hour with it I am very happy. The scenes feature is just awesome. One scene for clip firing, another on a different midi channel for drum pads, another for hits and dummy clips. Wow.

Everyone seems set on the PadKontrol, despite the fact it has no faders or only two knobs? Are you guys using it in combination with something else?

yeah,, i got padkontrol and remote zero sl.. i wish the padkontrol had a few more knobs, i love the xy pad, but find it to fidgety for using in automap..
since i us my sl mostly for general mixer purposes, i am considering buying something like the x-session pro or x-session 17, so that i can have a a completely dedicated drum machine. without having to share the feautres of sl...the real problem for me with the sl with the padkontrol is that they just dont sit well together, a little too much space for a quick portable drum machine... the x-session is about $100 US, which may be a good solution..
