mines been serving me well under the current drivers I have. but I used to have a problem where it would randomly stop recieving midi and I would have to unplug it and reboot and then plug it in, which would only fix it half the time, but then the current drivers came out and I haven't seen that bug in about 6 months or so.

I would recommend it only if it's really cheap second hand, that way if you find it to be buggy then you can at least sell it for what you payed for it.

I still use mine, I've used it live and do trust it. the latency isn't very good though, not horrible but don't expect to get it really really low.

I've got M-Audio Firewire Audiophile. It satisfies my needs. My mate, who has ECHO AudioFire2, called me an idiot for having M-Audio, but then discovered He can't use his ECHO for Winamp and Ableton together. It means you must shut one down before opening the other one :lol:

I was also recommended TC Konnekt 8:

I would probably go for that one if I didn't have Audiophile.
