Sonic Maximizer ???????

I have seen that in recent times the BBE Sonic Maximizer has been a popular tool for fattening things up in the mix. Is this still the best tool for this job? Or - What is the latest greatest plug in now? Cheers.

oops i thought u guys were talkin about the hardware maximizer, cuz i was gonna suggest the bbe maxcom compressor/limiter with maximizer included.
