You guys with non-pro macbooks -- do you find any disadvantages of using Intel's graphics with shared memory or is that irrelevant these days?

What's the point of listing this? I imagine the point is to find the most common brands and use that as a baseline for what "most people use" and hence maybe you should use that too?
Everyone is different with different needs. The subject of "what laptop and interface should I get" comes up every week. just search the forum archives and you'll get more info than this thread.
No it wasnt to find out what laptop to use as i know everyone has differnet uses. It was just to see which laptop was most use and i can see its the Mac book

So if more people that reply to a thread on an ableton forum use macs you will too. If more use PC you will too. And yes you can tell that pretty easily from a forum search.
