i think it is not important to impress the mastering engineer, but
to be able to hear as many details as you can while mastering.
so your haircut should follow the laws of waveguide technology.
like this:

I'd personally recommend a footballers perm as worn by Kevin Keegan:
The "bouffant" nature of this haircut can help with the acoustics of your studio and eliminate standing bass waves.

A very large and sharp open-blade razor, done in one horizontal swipe, aimed between your chin and shoulders from the front...

OK ...so i follow your advisory and I got about 1 inch shortened from my hair. I still getting used to the look but I think it will enhance my production by at least 13 times.
the mastering engineer was a very friendly and she had a HUGE mastering console with many knobs and buttons. she pay some notice to my haircut but when she heard the trance music she mastured it really well. i asked her about using the aural exciter in logic but i left my dongle in the car last night. I let her use my mutant instaed. it was delightful.
thanks you all for helping me. I now need to make the artwork for my hip-hop album. I think of bundling the CD with Vinyl and 1 mutant per forum user for tower record purchases.
