Here is an idea and tell me what you guys think of it, schedule a meeting with an A&R at the label and my manager and let my manager bring the music over there with him and play it to the A&R, do you guys think that this could actually work out?

Ohhhh... Sorry I misunderstood.

To be honest I don't really know how the industry works with regards to just getting your beats/instrumental tracks used by a (hip-hop/RnB?) Artist...

"Here is an idea and tell me what you guys think of it, schedule a meeting with an A&R at the label and my manager and let my manager bring the music over there with him and play it to the A&R, do you guys think that this could actually work out?"

Not too sure about this though... It could work if the a&r guy in question isn't very busy, and is charitable and in a good mood, and if your manager has charm... But I would have thought the a&r guy would just say "oh.. sorry I'm quite busy but just send me your guy's tape and I'll give it a listen"

It seems to me that the most reliable way to achieve what you want is to get an unsigned singer/mc to form a group with yourself, play shows, network, and etc etc as has been previously mentioned.

It's not at all unheard of for relative unknowns to end up producing beats and tracks for big names, but these unknowns will all have had contacts/friends already in the biz.

yeh thats true most unknowns have contact when they do tracks for majors, i was thinking of just getting an unsigned artist and have them signed to me and give them the tune to record a track on. But i mght try seeing if any A&R's are not busy schedule a Web conference if my manager cant make it and we will talk over the internet

I personally think it's a monster misconception that smaller labels are getting truckloads of demos a day. Unless you're like someone outrageous like BMI or Sony Music or some shit. But if you're Kompakt or Sender or someone in that realm.... I bet it's under 20 CD's a week.
I know a few label owners and yea that get handed cdr's by artists at gigs here and there, but I don't think it's like the negative misconception everyone says it is. It's just bad mojo for you to not even try. Look past the negativity.

that's just a thought, I could be wrong.
