Anything with a DCO isnt analogue so I dont know if I should mention the Waldorf Pulse and Oberheim Matrix 1000 - both of which I have, love, and think sound amazing. I also own a sherman filterbank 2 for any digital sounds I dont want to sound too digi.

You cant beat Analogue Systems and Analogue Solutions for proper analogue gear though, and if I had the money (sigh) and the space (sigh) I'd definately dip my hand in those potts. 8O :D

Currently have an Andromeda A6, REV2 Prophet 5(midi'd), Jupiter-8(midi'd) and Juno-60(midi'd).

I love recording the audio from them into Logic and then tweaking before I bring it into Live and layering using racks. A little more work, but at the end of the day it's just so much more 'your own' in terms of satisfaction. Personal thing.

That said, the A6 is such a great analog that covers so many bases. Once you turn off the background tuning you get the nicest subtle 'drift'.The ribbon strip is a blast for sweeps and s&h-like cutoffs Also, I never use the internal FX; i leave that to the plug-ins if needed.

My recommendation for as close to an all-in-one with modern day stability.

As soon as I get enough money, the first one I'll be getting is the Andromeda A6. Stunning pads and leads.

I like all analog synths :)

I think my criteria is this... take the knob cap off and look at the little peg that the cap was on, is it plastic? then it's a fuc**ing piece of shi* synth. if you seen a metal peg then you MIGHT have something good :)
