Thanks guys. I'm currently away and will be for the next few days but when I get back, i'll keep on working on this.
I'll keep trying more electro for sure. I've had lots of fun working on this tune so far. As for ditching DnB, that's a stretch.
Might take occasional breaks from it, but I never will ditch it.
Anyhoo, as far as the technique is concerned, not sure exactly what to say. It was kind of a no-brainer really. I just thought of some edits as the tune went along and then proceeded to manually chop, slice, cut, paste, pitch, crush, resample etc. to achieve the desired results.
Sorry if it's not much help, but that's essentially it. No fancy glitch-generating or randoimization plugins involved. Just a willingness to experiment, and some patience
