Have you tried disk recovery software? I also have one of these drives and it crashed, i thought everything was lost. 15 minutes with Acronis disk director recovered everything on the drive. The software can be had for $50, there is no reason anybody storing data that they value shouldn't own a copy. I use this software all the time to recovery data for clients, it works over and over on all but the worst HD crashes.kb420 wrote:Mine crashed yesterday. I had close to 200 gigs of files on it.
