So, may I - again - ask all of you, who have these so personal issues, to either join a chat room and get your personal animities fixed somehow, or use private messages, or go have a walk outside?

Mind you, that won't 'force' anyone to create any new forum section, as that thread itself is a proof that it is not the subject that matters, but the people who discuss it. I would imagine exactly the same kind of 'dialog' about a computer platform or a DAW versus another one. Where would that belong?

As you may have not yet noticed, this place is quite very helpful, and talks 90% music at least, most of the time, but when a 'justice freak' comes to 'show' something, like there is too much OT discussion, or to 'show' this or that person is such or such. It's only this kind of self justice that harms the place, nothing else. So please, if you are not simply trolling (and there are more challenging places on the Internet for that), re-read the statement that Alex posted long ago, and behave:

information on the so-called Netiquette available on the Internet that

Please try to always remember that there are also humans on the other end of
the 'line'.
This is why you might want to not be using too much slang-vocabulary as
the forum-community includes people from a lot of different countries and
slang can often be either not understood at all or misinterpreted.
Just the same, especially new members of the forum require help and
respectively a friendly and co-operative behavior. Therefore we would like
you to be friendly, helpful and respectful.

In this forum we trust in the ability of the
Ableton-community to manage the forum themselves so that there will be no need
of any kind of censorship.
This means that each forum-user can contribute to the forum being found to
be a pleasant place by giving a good example him- or herself. Because
somebody who is treated in a friendly manner is probably much rather willing
and motivated to treat others friendly as well.
