we bought a 3D for our club, cause we have a lot of abletonians and traktonians playing, does the job and sounds.

how are the faders on the 62? can they be moved relatively quickly or are they a strictly blend type fader?

very quick, and they can take alot of abuse

i'm hard on faders.. and i never replaced them... but i wish the 62 had the "paddle" style faders of the 92 (but thoses paddles can get loose and fly right off of the faders on the 92)

...Ok, what's the other options? pro fader lube that I've bought at the record store worked out just as well as WD-40; I've found it to work, anyways... What am I missing?

keep in mind the fader caps though - they're indented, so you can't really 'pinch' them to flick them up and down.

wd40 is the worst thing you could spray into a mixer. i wouldn't even spray it in a numark blue dog. it's oil based and attracts dust, completely the opposite of what you want.

CAIG cailube, MCL, and progold are the only products that should go anywhere near your fader.

as for chapstick - 8O

I have a RANE (TTX?) Like the one toneDeft Picture.

A Pioneer 800

And a A=H - 62.

Sound: 62 hands Down.

Versatility and effects: The 800

But the 62 just has THAT sound that warms everything up..Plus it has 6 inputs so Ican run 2 CDJ's, 2 1200's and LIVE.

Replacing faders on the 62 is pretty easy too, I had to do that after a DJ bent one of mine one night. Will come in handy if you keep spraying WD-40 in your faders, awful stuff for electronics. Regular electronics contact cleaner followed by fader lube would be far better.

I've never sprayed it in, I've sprayed it on the end of a Q-tip and then ran the Q-tip along my fader rails. I've been satisfied with the results.

As far as the chapstick goes, it gave a nice, stiff feel. The WD-40 and a Q-tip took it right off with no residue whatsoever.

But hey, if you don't mind paying more for fader lube, that's cool.
