BCF-2000 knob sensitivity/range question

Here's a tip to setup the same thing on the BCR (maybe the BCF too?) using just the hardware editing:

Encoder mode: rx14 (relative 14-bit, x = mode)
Encoder range: >200 (higher values = more acceleration)

Since relative mode doesn't send 14-bit messages anyway, so this appears to be a cheat on Behringer's part that they haven't bothered to document.

The hardware acceleration is not as smooth as a real MCU (which is why i still do it in software for the BCR when doing MC emulation via LC Xmu), but it works, and you don't need to hack around with a hex editor.
Does anyone know if we can we can change the encoder action in mackie emulation mode on the bcf?
I don't think it will be possible to edit the acceleration for the hardware BCF MCU emulation, because that's not a preset, it's a firmware boot mode.
