Let's say that you time her average footfalls to be 2.25 every second as an example (approximate). Well, 2.25 * 60 (seconds in a minute) = 135 BPM
Match your tempo of your audio track to 135 BPM, and select 3 seconds worth of audio by doing the reverse math (135/60 = 2.25 * 3 = 6.75 (or in beat-speak, 6 bars and then 3/4 bar (6.3.1).
I cannot select 3 seconds of audio and come up with a seamless loop though. I need to select up to whereever the loop occurs. Matching the tempo is easy through timestretching. Creating a loop to match the time of the video (3 seconds) is easy through timestretching. Doing both...ummm is seeming more and more impossible.

if your video loop has 8 footfalls, then:
select a loop of audio that spans 8 beats
hit the warp button and loop button
hit play
you are done
if a few beats are off of the footfalls, use warp markers
