I think it looks a little weird... even, dare I say it, bland?

They've never still topped the iMac G4. That thing was so beautiful... the iMac G5 was somewhat boring and I think the proportions were all wrong.

Still waiting for touch screen displays, hopefully in the laptop line.......

Trivia for the day; Jobs wears nothing but that outfit, took his cue from Einstein with that.

Fropm the front pics it looks kinda so so, but when you see it at an angle and the aluminum shows better, I really like the way it looks.

Neither... maybe it wil look better in person but it seems a bit too strong. I Would have thought it nicer to have the whole panel the one colour/texture.

About the guts- not much new

I was hoping for eSATA or a second internal HD. And I thought it should come with 2GB of RAM standard.

all I can say is that apple fixed my powerbook monitor when it busted almost a year after purchase. apparently a friend of mine had spilled something on it which voided the warrenty but then oddly enough they said "hm.... it seems that someone already fixed it anyway, so there will be no charge since you didn't authorize the work"

I tried one out today... I dunno. It's a Mac.

I kinda liked the cleaner white iMacs better. This one is aluminum. The glossy screen is yucky. The black ring around the screen, I dunno, it's the kind of thing companies that are trying to copy Apple do. It's a little busy.

The new keyboard is slick, but it's basically the MacBook keys trapped in a small aluminum casing, with USBs on either end like the older kayboards. I think the keys are too clicky/noisey.

Moan moan moan. It's still a nice machine.

Gimme a laptop redesign already! The MacBook Pro as a thinner version of the PowerBook doesn't cut it.

Signed.

I read this as a signal that they'll try to make most of their product line fit the iPhone design. Don't know if I like the idea.

The Imac does look a bit uglier IMO-- except when you look at it from a profile view.

I was wondering if they would unleash an ultralight portable.. you know.. that slick 12" powerbook design....

oh well.... I still have my windhoes notebook!
