No way. Something isn't right. I'm even getting clicks and stutters when I am not syncing Live or even recoding for that matter. I never had these issues until I upgraded my OS and driver. My machine's specs should still be fine than for what I do, since I haven't changed my work flow much, and there was no issue in the past. I reported the problem to M-Audio. To bad I upgraded both at the same time, cause now I can't narrow down the source.

My bad. I determined that it's user error on my behalf. i just noticed that my buffer needs to be set really low when recording, and set really high whenever I'm playing multiple samples or CPU compromising clips.
