Any one recommend any podcasts/internet radio sites i can find hip hop from the 80's /early 90's ? EPMD, Eric B, Public Enemy, SchoolyD, Mobb Deep etc....

oh yea, pretty much all the dilla-produced tracks on the Jaylib lp
not really the basslines, but just the amount of bass. proper OOF!

I'm on a dirt slow internet connection so I can't listen to any of 'em unfortunately...

But I submit:

"SHAKE YOUR RUMP" by the Beastie Boys. Fuching ILL. I don't know if it counts as synth or not though, since it's either

a heavily effected electric bass recorded on vinyl and being scratched, or
a synth riff recorded on vinyl and being scratched.

Either way, it's friggin brilliant, and I sh!t my pants every time I hear it.
