PEOPLE!
This is a treasure trove here.
If you love fm, check this out. His patches are pure operator, no effects. And a different style from all the other operator packs (ableton, covops, magnetik, trackteam) ...
I can't think of an adjective for the style -- many of the sounds are fragile & detailed. Very musical.
For example, one of the voices ... you play a note and you have some good basic thump in there, but there is this hint of fluttering magic in the background ... this is what good fm programming is all about!
Christian makes music too ... check it out!

Can someone tell me how to install these? I tried dropping them into my library folder, no dice....

I unzipped the files and dragged the .adv files onto a blank space in my ableton session. If I liked the patch, then I dragged the operator to my browser.Bassic Dave wrote:Can someone tell me how to install these? I tried dropping them into my library folder, no dice....
My favorite patches so far are ck. b, h, k, o, y, and z. Great sounds that really tell a story. Thanks, Christian!
Minor side-note: The patches in the "ck.operatore" folder listed the titles of the operators as "operator" and I couldn't change the names easily, while the operators in the "ck.abc" folder were named according to the letter of each patch. Curious...
Again. Thanks for the great patches. It's really a pleasure to have a simple patch to reverse engineer. I think you will help me learn a lot about operator and sound synthesis, Christian!
Now if a power-user could use them in a song and post the project with all the automation and effects, then all would be complete

Thank you for sharing these Christian,
I look forward to checking these out and your music.

The link gave me a 404 error, but I found my way to your site which has presets for Live 9 Operator and Live 8 Operator. I presume that the Live 9 ones don't work with Live 8. Can anyone tell me why not?
