i'd say samples from silbereisen, beats from speedos.

nothing beats a propa folkmusic/breakcore mashup.

+1 on that. It was just coherent enough to be musical (in some ways moreso than what qualifies as serious music nowadays). Love the unadulterated use of the harmonizer on the vocals- easily the #1 most annoying effect ever for vocals- narrowly beats the chipmunk effect, which jumped the shark soon after newcleus used it in the 80s.
