Meef Chaloin wrote:is there something for folder tracks? Looks like its possible with the new drum racks but can you do it with normal tracks?
yea that was the first thing i thought when i saw the Drum Racks vid, but no, the beta doesnt have any track grouping options. maybe it'll make the final version..

you can now fold devices as well as racks.

use the plus and minus keys on your keyboard

the in-line mixer is different than folder tracks - think of it as a way to view a rack. You can view normal instrument racks that way too, not just drumracks

Does anyone know if there are there any facilities in Live 7 to filter out incoming MIDI data from being recorded (such as ignore aftertouch, pitch bend, etc.)?
Thanks,
Robin

Hi quality mode on the Operator.

Dig out your old Operator patches that sounded too harsh in the high tones. Turn on the new antialiasing by right-clicking in the title bar. Now play some high tones :D

Adds a bit of cpu usage this mode (and its activated on a fresh operator by default).
But it sounds like an angel falling down the stairs.

It's been mentioned before - but it bears repeating

have a look in your library, in the folder called 'defaults' hmmm, what do you see there eh ;) :D

it;s a lot more exciting than it sounds, I'll leave you to figure out how it works.

So, you haven't made a default for what you want to happen when you drag multiple samples to a drum rack?

for instance
hmm, well.

I don't want to give too many clues, it spoils the fun.
but here's one: Simpler , or Sampler?
actually here's another : what do you want those macros mapped to?

<blank stare>

I'll look into it at some point after I get through a first pass of all the beta features.

contextual menu option at all device headers;

'show preset name'..

bye bye default anonymous device names..

the preset name is ofcourse also shown in Arrange's envelope choosers..

Make an example of what you want Live to do in that (named) situation and drag it in there :D
