hash or not

OK, kent, I guess it depends on the internal workings of the program, but whatever, it's not a huge rewrite of the program. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's simple, but it was overlooked by Ableton from the beginning and it's an obvious error in the program.

The K2000's are VASTly terrible. I had one and sold it long ago. lol. I don't recommend anyone buying it. You should get someone to videotape you throwing it off of a high rooftop and post it online.

I'm sure it's not a simple rewrite, myself. Things that look simple on the outside requires tons of coding inside, speaking from experience. --Kent

add a variable

This is version 7, that's a whole integer higher than 6. Could they add this variable? Everyone agrees that the midi in Live is missing a lot. The midi editing is pathetic as well.

More pathetic, like Britney Spears getting booked last week for hit and run. What have you seen that's more pathetic? You mean other programs, like ProTools, Logic, Sonar -- What are you talking about? My comments, midi, Ableton Live 2.6? or did you mean that the midi editing in live is not that bad? I agree, it's not that bad, it's just bad. or did you mean patethic?

I've seen tools that are more pathetic.

I said in my first post that I need this to work, so are there any suggestions, or any other helpful comments.

I don't understand.

anyway... have you tried using a rack to fix your problem? if you right click on a rack slot and hit 'import sampler settings' it should map right to your sampler with purple icon just below the video window.

I'll try it

dude, my bad. you have to put the AUDIO rack in a send. put it in Send A. there's a bug though (of course, Live is full of bugs, right?)
- turn Send A on Send A up
- right click on Send A
- hit 'enable send'

that allows Live access to your sampler.

i think the reason you're not getting many responses is your attitude. but if it works for you, god speed.
