Hi. In case you've come here and not found the solution yet, here's my method (Ableton 10)
You can change the Pitch of a complete track for one Midi instrument by -
1) Selecting the instrument's Device Title Bar(loads all the controls of the instrument into the bottom window)
2) Open the Browser window and find 'MIDI Effects/Pitch'
3) No need to open the Pitch Drop-down, simply drag the Pitch item to the bottom window with the controls
4) Ensure you are in the Arrangement view and activate 'Automation Mode' (tiny diagonal 'dog-bone' icon above track titles)
This opens a couple of drop-downs in the track title box.
5) Click on the top one and find, 'Pitch' or '<Instrument name> | Pitch'
6) In the lower drop-down, also select 'Pitch'
This will display a red Automation control line across the length of the selected track.
7) Drag it up or down, one semitone step at a time until you've transposed the number of steps desired.
The whole length of that track will be changed.
Repeat for all MIDI instrument tracks - as stated above, you probably wouldn't want a global transposition control as it would ruin the drums!

There is an ''un/follow global transpose'' option for tracks in Cubase which overcomes that problem. So if ever Live has this option it is a good way to protect chosen tracks.
