need help finding the right studio-monitors

i can imagine. i listen to some of my favourite music over the events and there's such big differece. i'm so amazed. its a must hear if youre looking for some good monitors.

I use Yamaha hs80's with the hs10 sub.

The high end btw the 50 and 80's is quite similar. Lacks bass. The sub was required for work that included lots of low beats and bass lines.

true! but the subwoofer is about 420€! thats more than a pair of hs-50. for hs-10 and hs-50 together i could some nice adam a7.

Save up and go for a pair of Adam A7s. They will be far superior to any of the suggestions made so far.

I currently have a pair of Event TR5s with an Adam S8 sub. Great combo, but having heard the A7s in action, there is an appreciably large difference in stereo separation and detail. I started saving for a pair immediately. :)

But if they are out of your price range, Events are very good and would be my second choice. Try and get a set of TR5s or 6s. Don't bother with their sub though, all phono connectors. :!:

too late! now i own a pair of event alp5 and they satisfy my ears more than enough! i'm totally in love with them.

i can imagine that the a7's are better but i cant pay over 700 euro for a pair of monitors. also i'm a beginner in mixing.
