I think you need a girlfriend.

Or maybe just a little masturbation session.

If you need pornlinks, there is a couple of spambot that can provide you some help.

Don't forget to keep your javascript fully on while browsing.

Ouch, nasty words flying in no time.

Desired effect is to give you a mono bass track. If there's any stereo movement in the original track this will affect the mono output though. Utility fully left or right just gives you 100% of that side in both channels, not true mono AFAIK. Mono bass is generally preferable, esp. when cutting to vinyl.

Don't u very disapointed that there is no MONO/STEREO switch on live tracks,
So everybody knows for example a bass is better when mixing in MONO so how did u achieve this simple function in others sequencers with LIVE since theres no option through all entire soft.???
On the off chance that this user is for real, I'll give a real answer, since it is something I've seen many people get confused by.

There are two notions of "mono" -- one is a description of signal flows, and one is a description of sound signals. A signal flow is mono if it has only one channel. On DAWs that have one, a mono/stereo switch changes the signal flow so that there is only one channel. A sound is mono if the signal going through every channel involved in the production of that sound is identical. So a sound going through one channel is necessarily mono, and a sound going through two channels can be mono if the two channels are identical. A stereo sound can't be put through a mono channel without losing information (either by dropping one channel, or summing the two and potentially having phasing problems), but a mono sound can be put through a stereo channel without losing information (and it typically is, since most people have a stereo monitor setup.)

Bass is usually thought to be better when it involves a mono sound signal. It doesn't really matter whether the signal flow is mono or stereo (or whatever), because there won't be any lost information. Live only has stereo signal flows, and for reasons that should be clear now if you read everything I wrote, this simply doesn't matter.

mono IS the same signal in both channels

if you don't think so, then I suppose the answer is to disconnect one of your speakers

What I meant was that in the case of Live's stereo channels, this is not a mono bi-channel summing of a stereo signal but simply pushing one side through both channels.

Plug my speaker back in now :?

where r u from man with your speech about signal flow or signal channel this is not understandable by the people on the scene !!!!

I have spend 3/4 hour to read the mabual (who really need a total remaking because 50% is writing by people who don't profesionnal teaching capabilities, plus some point need more clear words but... one more on the listt for the Ableton cauze they completly out of the GAME >>> 800 euro / 700 dollars for the live 7 is bullshit
Team AiR released the exaact digital on my community (magesy.ws : the MOST advanced communiyty) in 2 hours after Ableton make it avaible for regular users.... AiR Team we just trying before buying the software, the got more skills then Ableton thise guys have total knowledge of coding and mathematic most bigger degre than all ableton crew... but,

Don't a simple switch, clickable in 1 second have been better than a utility needding tweaking and let us with 40% of chance to go wrong????

Please take the real way and put your money in the right place ... I only can tell u to take a "one year subscription to Computer Music UK" for 100 dollars / 75 euros ... this is the first step before speeching with signal flow and others thing don"t have signification ... -))

but i found here "stereo TOOLS" or others free plugins gonna do the trick...

NB : plus on the list we need all function being midi or keyborard mappable (e"xample u can't keymapping for the bottom selection bar in session view )

but this not important but just to prove that before askink now 800euro /700 dollar they lose theires mind!!!

they are 50% of the Steinberg cubase 4 functions (total presets saéving of the projeect in one command, plus all the rest of the list), so they can't ask the samze price just with adding fucking more synth (we ever have the most powerfull synth in the world, don't need another 340 plus one synth for shit... yo

this is a joke my brotherz...
this is REAL and CLEAR that they don't really spend their lives using the soft because they don't see where is the real need !!!

believe it or Die hard !!

im already die (twice),
nigga please !

See this is what happens when you guys threaten to wreak havoc on the Fruity Loops forums. They sent this guy as a pre-emptive strike.

Personally I'm enjoying the rants. It's like music-geek comedy, a Vicky Pollard of the music world. (For the uninitiated - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicky_Pollard - pic)

you don't like porn ?

The utility thing I think is just to emulate a mono channel behavior.

Not sure i'm getting it too. I Just know my mono tracks are playing normally even if live shows a stereo meter so I simply don't bother.

Just found this thread when I came home from work. I can't believe I even bothered to answer the email you wrote to us. Go back to your talented crack "community" then, which did not even managed to get a workable Live crack done in 7 years.

Perhaps you should invest some time on learning more about signal processing than on spending it on these porn pop ups of your crack sites.

Good bye.
