I got it working for me now.

For those who still can't, the tricky bit is getting the settings right for the inputs and outputs of midiyoke. So i made a screenshot:



All that is needed for this is midiyoke output 1 track on;
midiyoke input 1 remote on

Now press midi map, assign a note to scene down, and another to scene launch.

On a midi track, set the output to midiyoke 1, and create a clip.

If you want the scene to change after 4 bars, put the note you assigned to scene down just before bar 5 and the note for scene launch at bar 5. Voilá!

Now you can copy that clip to other scenes and change length if needed and rename the clips something like 8 bars, 4 bars, etc. Groovy!

Just rename the scene to "x" bpm, like 120 bpm.

Hi Grappadura,

You can also midi-learn the project tempo (left side of tempo=Rough tune;right side (only L7)=fine tune).

For example make a midi clip with controller one (cc1) for modulating the tempo, learn this controller to project tempo and fire this clip at times to change your project tempo gradually.

Thank you Palmer, I´ll check it out! I was wondering if a gradual but rough tempo change might sound like a scratch on a turntable. Any experiences?

Hey Guys...

we don`t get this to work proper..i mean..to set up the IAC driver is no problem..the midi clip works as controller fawlessy..but as soon as we try to place the notes..there is just a weird behavior..

let me explain..

we want to use the follow action midi clip to trigger the next scene after one bar for example..

ok..as dj groovy wrote..we should set the scene down note to just before the next bar???where exactly? and the scene start ON bar two...but the strange behavior is about..when we apply just the scene down note..everything works fine...


ok but as soon as we apply the scene launch note...it launches the scene and goes one more scene down as well..so like it steps one scene too much..


could anybody help us out?
hope you got the point...i`ve disabled loop on the FA Midi clip..set quantization to Global and this prerun kind of thing to none..

please help..its really bugging us...
