yeah, screenshots.

Esp. the prefernces/MIDI section.

Sync has nothing to do with that you are trying to set up here, unless the Andromeda has its own sequencer or something.

You need to set up the Oxygen as the OUTPUT device under preferences/MIDI

Then in Live's track view, set the Oxygen as the track output and assign the right MIDI channel.

I assume that since everything works OK when you've exported a file to Cubase, that the cables are all OK. But I am confused as to how you can record any MIDI to Live in the first place if you aren't hearing the Andromeda at all?!? Are you swapping the MIDI cable from the Oxygen's MIDI out to MIDI THRU inbetween the recording and playback steps? Are you using a VST plugin to hear something so you can record it?

Could you post some screenshots of what your routing and tracks look like?

And you're sure that the Andromeda is actually set to receive on channel 1?

Are you on PC? If so, download midiox to see if you're actually getting a signal on the out port when routing the way you do.

This is most probably a dumb question, so sorry in advance:

If it's a v1 Oxygen, have you double checked you are connecting to the correct MIDI port? And more importantly, if it's a v2 Oxygen, are you sure you are in MIDI out mode "USB" instead of "Int" ?
