there is definitely a bug with this - I get it a lot

file manager has a few problems

Same error here. I installed 7.0.2 then uninstalled 7.0.1

edit: reinstalling live 7.0.2 has fixed the missing samples message

...can confirm what pr0jekt2501 said - RE-installing the new version after uninstalling the old version solved it for me too...
