The Live gate plug is great too for doing things like adding a burst of distortion to a bass line every time the kick drum hits. Way cool. 8)

i should try this as im looking for a good multiband. what concerns me about this is phase problems when recombining the bands.

im pretty sure eq8 isnt a linear phase eq, although i could be wrong.
