Which laptops actually have a 7200rpm HD? I've been trying to find one, but all of them are 5400rpm. If I wanted a 7200 rpm HD, it'd had to be external on a laptop?

Macbook Pro have that option, but I'd go buying one 7200 myself and make the switch If I were able to do it.

The real question should be what OS should I use
or what hardware brand should I buy or some combination of both questions
thats the equivalent of saying a post op tranny is now a woman. Macs can run windows now but they are still way different.

Ive used both, and both could crash :D

Switched to pc since 1998, before that i used a mac for 6 years.

mac +
Decicated hardware, the os is build(written) on that fact, while windows has to depend on what brand and system config you have...

If i had the money i would try a mac again for the fun of it :), but over the years i bought many plugins which are not mac compatible, and have to buy a new audiocard and dsp cards to use with a mac.
That's a bit to much.

I am pretty satisfied with the pc, if you tweak xp a bit it runs very stable.

Btw if you want a nice laptop , check :

I've found it works even better if you leave it the fuck alone.
