Gotta get my .02.
Try the Sony 7506. Satisfying bass response, comfy, loud as heck and great for all studio purposes. Can't beat the $ either.
BTW I have:
K240, dull, flat and distant sounding.
Sennheiser HD 590, great for general stereo, mp3, home entertainment listening
very comfy. Can't deal with them in the studio.
