yeah, last night i put in a lot of work to better my layout on the sl, and it is sweet. i set up a bunch of filters in effect racks so i can control the freq and the resonance with one knob for a sweep effect. i also set up a couple send effects which sound sick with the highpass filters. so, overall, i just made my sl much more badass. i've also still got a few knobs left so i can still do a few other things. plus, did anyone know you can use the actual keys as triggers? 'cause that's sick.selthym wrote:I would just stick to the SL... Who cares what you look like? When playing a set most people won't even look at the controller.
Keep in mind that you can use your compueters QWERTY to trigger clips and turn on/off loops and effects. Maybe get an old Keyboard and stick coloured stickers over the keys for triggering clips and use the rotaries and faders on the SL for filters & Highs, Mids, Lows controlls.
oh, and one last thing, whoever sent me that "bananasatlarge" site, now THEY'RE out of stock too. perhaps i will hold off on the other controller.
