Got 7, but gigging with 6. It does everything I need and far more, and is flawless.
If it ain't broke...

I have 6 and 7. I use 6 for music and 7 for a bug fix log. I'll probably use 7 for music when they start beta testing 8.

Loving 6!
I favor being behind the curve on Software & Hardware!
I'll let others Beta test, so stick to what works and has established, documented work-arounds.
On that note... i'm still on Logic Pro 7, still on a PPC mac, and still happy as fak to use Trilogy and Atmosphere without a wrapper and latency! WOOT
I'm still using Unleaded Gas too!

...I should learn to stop and think for a minute... I got suckered in...
I knew it wasn't ready for release during beta...
in my spare time ... I use v7.. it's fun until it crashes...
I've gotten used to crash it once in 1-2 hours...
being used to render videos...
I just let XP restart...
make myself a cup of coffee in the meantime...

Still on 6 here but will be upgrading very soon, although I'll stick with 6 for gigging on my laptop.

7.01 and 7.02 were/are very stable on my system (yeah, I know, f**k off man! blah blah . . .)
I guess I'll use 6 when I want to see a splash screen that doesn't have the piano looking like a flea jumping off of an orgy of instruments . . .

Live 8 will be coming out this year soon right? I'll wait for that one. With Live, I think it's ok to upgrade every 2 or 3 years.

IMO, hardware and software manufacturers release products earlier and earlier, relying on fools who can't wait to have the latest-and-greatest, to do the expensive beta test for them.

sadly, i feel the same.
i learned the hard way [losing a hell lot of time and jobs, fixing and spending time with the computer other then actually making music with it!] that i now don't 'fix' or update anything that works for me.

I still use 6. Then again, I tend to skip upgrades with most of my DAWs; the only one I've upgraded every time a new version's come out is Reason.

Still on 6 also, waiting for 7 to be more mature and tested. Maybe in a couple of months.
