I use the 3 BCR knobs for each tracks as Macro control.
The first is about decay/time, the second about filter, the third as a specific effect for a precise case.

decay time, for several intruments are assigned to time, volume, or other things
it depends of the need of this or that instruments..

add Leds?
It could be so fine!
I'll build my trigger grid (I'll hope to succeed in this!)

I'm not selling mine, but I just saw a Drehbank for sale on ebay:

Hello,

thanks for the answer.

I use my BCR
I'll use my future clips controller (rgb monome clone home made) as soon as it will work!

( infos here: http://www.julienbayle.net/diy/LiveInterface/ )

so, I guess I won't need a drehbank for my future use :-)

cheers,

How do you like the BCR? It seems most folks like them, I've been thinking of checking them out. Does it do the job nicely? Especially interested in your take since you initially wanted a Drehbank.

the BCR2000 is enough for me as I didn't think about it :o

I mean: in live performance, I cannot check 100000 buttons at a time.
I mean: by using BCR banks (32), I can control what I want to.

the rotary knobs + leds are very useful
I'm using buttons to get feedback from live as they contain leds too.

when I'll have my rgb monome clone fully working, I think I won't need more hardware.

Cool. Thanks. I think I'll have to get one & see how it picks up the slack from the Drehbanks. The Drehbanks are good for live & improv, but for tweaking an arrangement the BCR may be the way to go. :)

$439.00 for 8 knobs? YIKES. You can buy several 16 knob controllers for that price.
It's actually 9 knobs. But I have to agree.

As sparkle said, different strokes.
