Not really throwing in the towel. I just have been creating music for a few years with Reason and lately I have become a collector of sounds rather than a musician. Want to get back to basics. Not too interested in adding a professional polished touch to things rather than getting things done.

Some programs suit people and Reason suits me. So back to basics for me. More skilled people can make great stuff with all this gear. I just get burried in options. Its an expensive hobby if you go down that road and I wont ever be going pro so thats the reason.

And also I am saving up for a big pair of tits for me mot!
