That was about as far as I got with those games as a child.

You start off in front of Lefty's Bar. Open door, walk in & sit at the bar. Buy a whiskey, then go to the back room.

Talk to the bum. Give whiskey to bum. Get the flower located on the table at the left. Enter the bathroom on your right. Stand in front of the toilet & read wall till you see the phrase 'Ken sent me'.Go to the sink on your right & get the ring.

Go back out to the bar, then knock on the door on your right. The password is 'Ken sent me'.

Use your remote & change the channel until the guy at the stairs leaves his post to watch TV. Go upstairs.

Ignore the hooker for now. You may have a closer look at her but do not be tempted to have sex ( not now at least ). get the candy located on the table at the bottom right. Open window & climb out.
Walk left and you'll fall into the dumpster below. Get hammer ( in the trash ). Climb out. Get a taxi & go to the casino.

Remember to pay the cabbie before leaving the taxi. To get out of the cab, simply type 'get out'. If you see a man selling apples in front of the casino, buy one from him. Enter the casino & walk north.

Walk north past the gambling room towards the elevator. Search the ashtray to find a card. Go back to the gambling room & play until you have $250. Get out & take a taxi to the convenience store.

Enter the store & grab a bottle of wine from the back shelf. Buy wine & give it to the bum outside ( if you see him ). If you don't see him, wait a couple of seconds for him to appear. Walk east to the disco.

Show card to the bouncer. Go upstairs & sit next to the girl. Look at the girl then talk to her. Give her the candy, flowers & ring. Go dance with her, & she'll ask for $100 after the dance. Give her the money then head back to the casino. Play till you have $250 then go to the chapel located next to the casino ( on the right ).

At the chapel, simply walk up to the altar & marry the girl. After getting married, take a cab back to the convenience store & buy a condom at the counter. Go to the payphone outside & call 555-6969 fo an additional 2 points. Then call 555-8039 to order some wine. Have them send the wine to "honeymoon suite at hotel". Take another cab back to the casino ( hotel ).

the key is to type really fast

If I typed "kill troll with axe" 3 times as fast as my pudgy 10 year old fingers could type then I could quite often kill the troll with the axe.

Never did figure out what the fuck a "lurking Grue" is though.
